Peering Policy

UK Grid maintains an open peering policy.

UK Grid currently does not require a formal peering agreement but will sign one if necessary.

UK Grid advertise their as-macro as AS-UKGRID and have a suggested max-prefix limit of 30.

UK Grid requests a max-prefix recommendation from all peering partners.

UK Grid prefers to use MD5 on all peering sessions althought it's not mandatory.

UK Grid prefers to peer at multiple locations or dual connect on physically seperate networks.
